Jeremy Ennis
These limited edition prints are beautiful, and the originals are something very special!
Jeremy’s work is not actually flat. In fact, when you get up close you realize it is raised and has many textures.
He starts with a concept and sketch on Mylar, then he works on both sides of the Mylar to create a unique effect.
His technique is a complicated7 step process. Using an engraving tool or hard pencil he draws the primary image on the the backside to create an almost 3D effect.
Jeremy continues to flip the work over creating tiny details on the front.
Finally he adds highlights and shadows, and deepens colors.
Lastly he switches back to the backside and paints the the primary image in acrylic, making the front really pop.
The size of the pieces are approx 6x8 inches, and the prints or originals sure pack a punch!
